The Offering

I waited, and I waited, and I waited patiently. I know he wanted to make it extra special. And I know he had a "secret getaway" already planned. But due to the recent circumstances, We needed to get married sooner. He thought of a new plan. And he started to try to propose, I wasn't getting it. We shower together, a lot. He put the ring in his mouth, expecting me to ask for my shampoo. I didn't. We got out, got dressed, and sat down to watch TV. I finally realized there was something in his mouth!!! M: "What are you eating Jeremy" J: "Nothing" M: "Yea right, let me see"J: "Well come see" So I went over pried his mouth open, and there sat my ring. And then he asked me. Of course I said YES! It was a gorgeous ring, everything I had ever wanted.

We set the date, and started planning.
